If they haven't hung up on you, keep on the line. I think this is a tactic to make you hang up and possibly reduce their average call time for their stat tracking.  I held on for a minute of silence and an annoyed sounding customer service member eventually started talking.

Me too. I have been on hold for over 1.5 hours. Ridiculous. I was only wanting to cancel part of my contract. I am tempted to cancel the full thing now.
