I’m due to upgrade tomorrow I’m just wondering if I’ll need to show photo id on delivery

All depends on the delivery driver, some ask some don't..

Sometimes they take a photo of the phone being delivered to you

Other times, depending on the courier, they just don't bother

...or even bother attempting a delivery at all!
