Paying off device plan and ending contrat

Anonymous
Not applicable
My contract finishes in January. According to O2 online if I pay wants left of the device plan,£20.00, I can upgrade. Does this however mean if I want to move elsewhere, that even if I pay the device plan off I have to stay until January? Stupid question i know but I've seen a really great offer elsewhere that o2 won't/can't match.

If you want to keep your number, just ask customer service for your PAC. When you give the PAC to your new provider it will automatically cancel your contract. Just make sure your bill is zero before canceling your direct debit.

Not at all. As soon as the device is paid off you can ask o2 to cancel the airtime and leave immediately.
