Hello.
Am I missing something?
I was considering moving back to pay monthly (swap to PAYG half year ago) but i do not see any benefits of that.
PAYG: Big data bundle: £10 - unlimited minutes and text 7GB of data (doubled to 14GB)
Pay Monthly: £15 - unlimited minutes and text 6GB of data, 24 months contract.
Booth include EU roaming.
I'm not heavy mobile data user, rarely get close to the limit.
Question:
Is there something I am missing, what is worth to pay more for less?

No 4g calling currently on PAYG so will be an issue roaming in countries where 3g has been turned off. Will have to be corrected before 2025 though when O2 switch off 3g.
No wifi calling on PAYG.
Cheaper pay monthly deals available through USwitch.
Choose the deal you want
This will automatically redirect you to the O2 website
Just follow the prompts and choose the UPGRADE option
Complete the deal and nothing on your account changes except the tariff at the new cheaper cost
Payment date is the same and your next bill will be cat a cheaper rate and will be made up of the pro rata cost of your old tariff and your new tariff
The change should show in My O2 within 24 hours
Volt benefits will still apply as will possibly a 3 month extra such as Disney+

PAYG big bundles is just like having a 30 day contract
ie. You pay every month
USwitch is definitely the way to go and most of us on sim only contracts upgrade through USwitch every April so as not to incur the big price hikes

This explain why I had roaming issues (data OK, phone unavailable) while in Europe...
Thanks.
It's becoming a big problem for many when roaming @sebw
