Hi, I just went to pay my current bill, which was the normal amount of £28.02, but when I get to the part where my bank confirms details etc. the amount was showing as £663.00 WTF is that about? See attached image.
Of course I didn't continue with the payment, so what now?

Hi @Anonymous
I presume you checked you real bill and usage out in My O2? http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2
Then you need to ring customer services as soon as possible and ask them to explain what's going on. I would double check the bill again this morning to see if it has changed to the correct amount (website error etc)
Either way you should ring O2 Cs via the numbers in this link http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
Do not use live chat as they are pretty poor with account based issues. Best of luck

If it's not a billing error it looks very much like a final bill after the contract has been broken in someway.

It really looks as if you have cancelled your direct debit and then missed payments that are due.
Only O2 can help you with this.

I don't do direct debit with these sort of bills, for exactly these weird billing occurrences. The last thing I need is£600+ coming out of my account :).
One could say that not having a DD is the reason you do get these weird billing occurrences.
Anyway, the DD Indemnity would cover you in such circumstances, which incidentally, I've never known happen.

It has to be, having a direct debit is a requirement of the contract and protects you as much as O2.
Also you are notified 14 days before it becomes due for payment.
