Over sea charges

Hi I'm in Kenya at the moment and the day I landed got a text about using my phone for a £4.99 a day charge and get all the same calls texts and data as uk only used it a few days so shonld only be a £30-£40 extra on my bill but just looked on my o2 app and £296 charge for calls and data

You need to check in your MyO2 to see if you have the o2 travel bolt on and if it works in Kenya.

Well the UAE is included but why you would get that text in Kenya is beyond me.

Ive had this a few times when on short connections at international airports where by the time the o2 get the notification from the overseas and network, you are back on the plane...
