Order being reviewed?

I'm already an O2 pay monthly customer with two contracts on the same account. The second one I moved over from EE when it was put of contract and my order went through as an additional contract straight away.
I have just tried to order a third pay monthly contract but it says my order needs to be reviewed and can take 24 hours. Previously I know people who have placed an order and had money pending for days but then they haven't heard anything and the payment has been cancelled (so not accepted). Also the phone I've ordered is delayed so I won't necessarily receive a despatch email for a while (to know I've been accepted). Is there a way to check or track this or do I need to phone them? Last time I phoned they weren't overly helpful so I just did everything online.

You'll need to call customer service.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
Or advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
