Hi, just setting up my new iPhone X and imagined that I could use my old SIM card, it fits the phone but not working, I have no phone or messaging facility at all. So I would like a new one please but can find no means of ordering one on the website!

My details - Mrs xxxxx xxxxx, email xxxxx.xxxxx**Personal info**, phone xxxxx xxxxxx.

please advise how I order a new sim or please send me one - I didn’t request a new one when I ordered the phone as I didn’t think I would need one.

thanks

[mod edit: please do not post personal information such as phone numbers on the public board. Thanks!]

Hi @GenetB

This is a community forum and not customer services.

Have you activated your sim? https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/activating-your-sim

If so and it's not working, you need to call customer services and ask them to send you a new sim...or you could pop into your nearest O2 store to get one

Please remove your phone number as this is an open forum.

This isn't customer service @GenetB

Best option is to go instore where they will supply you with the correct sim and transfer your number for you.

@GenetB

There's no reason why your old SIM shouldn't work.

Check you have inserted it correctly first.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
