Old number not transferred to new phone

Yesterday I changed mobile providers from EE to O2 and have received my new phone. Today I received notifications from O2 that my old number has been ported over to my new phone, so I have wiped my old phone back to factory settings.

 

However, I can still see my temporary number listed as the new number on this phone. I’ve tried adding in my old phone number and restarting the phone as I’ve seen advised in other posts but it hasn’t worked and my temporary number is still showing.

 

Am I just being impatient or is there an issue?

The port may not have fully completed yet and a little patience may be required.

It can take up to 24 hours to fully port.

I suggest you try a network settings reset and keep checking for the next few hours.
