O2 refresh - in store?

Hello All

I want to upgrade my phone early on O2 refresh.... I purchased my original contract online, however as my phone has died I need to get it replaced early + urgently.  So the question is, can I upgrade my online contract in an O2 store (i.e. tomorrow) via the refresh deal?

Many Thanks

No i've not tried the Z1 yet (might even go for the compact if in stock).  I've always liked Sony for some reason.... found them easy to use and faultless... this is my only phone that has died as I dropped it on the floor & in water so I cant really moan about that.  This is the other benefit of going in store... I always like to see what I am getting before I decide.

Thanks - I had intended to upgrade online, but I cannot get the authentication code to do it as my phone has died (had an interesting converation with one of the O2 tech people tonight online).  In any event, I figured that going into the store would be the quickest way to get up and running on the same day without having to wait for a delivery.

It has been known for things to occasionally get muddled upgrading online.

I reviewed the Sony Xperia Z for o2.

They sent me a handset to play with for a few weeks.

The z1 is an upgrade to the one i had.

here is my review http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Discussions-Feedback/Sony-Xperia-Z-My-Mini-Review/m-p/582670/highlight/true#M39909

I would suggest you make enough time to play around with the working demo model to get a feel for the phone and its os and ui.

Well the online chat person couldnt understand the concept of "my phone has died - I cant receive the text message for the authentication code".... never mind, going in store tomorrow & will be quicker anyway.

Thanks for the link to your review... very helpful & seems like a good decent phone for what I want. I am curious to see how the camera on the Z1 comes out i.e. is it as good as it sounds in the spec!?

After my review my friend at my work had a play with my review model and opted for the Sony Xperia Z1 and really likes it.

The picture specs are astounding on both models.
