O2 loyalty discount finished

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have just received my latest bill and instead of receiving my £2.50 (Ex VAT) deduction, I have been charged an extra £1.94 (Ex VAT) on top of my contract.

This is now the 13th Month of the contract.

Should I have lost this as it has gone over 12 Months?

Hi @Anonymous As this discount was for 12months (I expect) then your final bill would have shown without it...

If you have any concerns you could ring customer services https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

You can check the bolt on in your MyO2 to see if it shows the end date, but most are 12 or 24 months http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

Loyalty and any other discount is for the length of the original contract only. You lose it after the minimum term.

Ok, so lets assume that I lose the loyalty bonus after 12 months, how come they have charged me £1.94 (Ex VAT) under 'loyalty bonus' which neans my £15.39 contract has cost me £17.71?

Without seeing it exactly I can only guess that was the amount previously deducted?
Can you post a screenshot?

Well to my mind you should now be just paying your £15 (plus rpi increase) so I've no idea why that's been added.
