O2 Open

Hi,

I am on a new O2 contract and just got to know that my employer has signed up with O2 to give employee discount. It is done using O2 Open code and it gives credit on monthly bills. Since my contract is less than 30 days, will I be able to get the benefit ?

It can't hurt to call Customer Services and ask, although these days O2 only offers a 7 day cooling off period, so if you've gone past that you may be out of luck.

Hi

The open code must be used at point of sale and in an o2 store.

if your contract is more than the 7 day cooling off period ago, and you didn't use the code at time of sale, you won't be able to get the discount, sorry.

I walked into an O2 store and asked about this Open code. They said I need to put that in the very first month.  Is it true ?

Also, if the customer care person on the web chat puts in the code then will it work ?  Or it goes through any other validation checks.

Should I try the web chat ?

If the chat guy adds it in the account and if he confirms then will it get displayed in the 'other charges & credits' tab under 'My Recent Charges' ?
