New phone new sim?

Hi there. I’ve upgraded my Iphone 6S to an IPhone XR, and I know that the XR takes a nano sim. I forgot to ask if my phone that is being delivered Monday will come with a new sim for it? Can anyone inform me if it does or will I have to go into the 02 shop and get one?! Thanks!

All iphones after the 5 take nano sims. Your old sim will fit the new phone.

You will only need a new sim if you want 5G. You can pick one up online or instore

iPhones can't do 5g anyway but your sim needs to go in the new phone upside down compared to your old phone.

If they send a new sim anyway, it will be blank, so just put it somewhere safe in case you need a new sim at any time in the future.
