My 1 month early upgrade is coming up confused with O2's price plans on phones

My 1 month early upgrade is coming up in 5 days time, obviously I cannot view the upgrade deals in my account as of yet till that time comes up, but have been doing some comparison here with what O2 are charging on there website in comparison to Carphone Warehouse on the deals.

A classic example is the Samsung Galaxy S3 which is obviously coming down in price due to the recent launch of the Galaxy S4 to which I tempted to go for, but not on the prices O2 as here on it's website. For example you can get the Galaxy S3 Free at Carphone Warehouse with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500 Mb Data for £22 per month. The same deal here on O2 they are asking £22 per month plus £279 for the phone. Quite a bit of difference I have to say, especially as you now go out and buy this phone for around £300, but obviously not on O2.

Its quite simple - If you don't like the price, don't pay it. No one is beating you up to buy the damn thing....!!
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

As stated, if you don't like the network and prices just stick with Vodafone, why the need to berate O2 in every one of your posts. Most people are mature enough to make their own choice. You have obviously made yours.

Agreed, if you're so unhappy with O2 why aren't you using Vodafone?

It's not a case of the network whoever your with, and like I said I still want to be on O2 Network with my own phone. It's about O2's pricing it's way over the hill.

My one month early upgrade is up today and I have just looked at their so called upgrade deals. Now if I want the Samsung Galaxy S3 for Free they want £37 per month off me. Do they actually know this is the S3 we are talking about which has come down to practically half it's price since the release of the S4.

Why on earth would I want to upgrade my phone here on O2's website when they are ripping people off with their prices, and I can upgrade my phone from Carphone Warehouse and still be on O2 and get the upgrade with them for either 26 per month with the S3 Free or for £22 per month and paying £29 up front.

Alternatively I could just have a new S3 with anything from 100 to 300 minutes Free at Carphone Warehouse and forget the upgrading and pay £22 per month and have a new mobile number.

Granted if I go along with the upgrade at Carphone Warehouse for £29 and £22 per month I will get 600 minutes. But the trouble is with all upgrades they are all about having loads of minutes and nothing else, they do not even consider the phone you want at all, and they do not do any deals for those who just want 100 minutes, and thinks it all about having loads of minutes. Me myself do not even use 100 minutes a month never mind 600 so why on earth should I pay £29 just to keep my existing mobile number.

Even if I keep my existing phone with O2 their upgrade options only offer me more minutes for more bloody money, why on earth would I want to do such a thing. I might as well just have new phone with a new number and forget upgrading it's a complete waste of time and a complete utter rip off.

O2 prices are not compulsory, if you think you can do better elsewhere then do it.

There is no rip off here, the prices are clearly visible so you have the choice.
