Moving to sim only tariff when phone is paid off

i currently have a payment plan that is for the phone and tariff. The last payment for the phone is next week. Does anyone know how i can change to sim only as there are better deals like this than on the current tariff? Also, do we have to stick woth O2 or can we look for sim only elsewhere? Thanks

Thanks for the info. I was looking to change to the O2 sim only tariff but can't get hold of anyone at O2 to find out how to do it

Choose Upgrade in M O2 and scroll down to sim only
