Moving my SIM card to a newer phone

Hello, I have an old iPhone 5c and I'm hoping to start using my wife's Samsung galaxy 7, it won't let me just move my SIM card over cause I think it's locked, is this possible to do? Cheers

Is your wife with o2? If yes then moving your sim from the iphone to the samsung will work fine.

If she isnt then the samsung may be locked to whatever network she is with so she will need to request the unlatch code from that network to unlock the phone for you to then use your o2 sim in it.
