Hi, I'm on a pay as you go but want to change to monthly, am I better to look online or go into the shop for O2 deals?

Go instore & upgrade. Much easier & more likely to walk out with your choice of handset

Hi @Anonymous Welcome to the forum. You check moving to pay monthly via this route http://www.o2.co.uk/movetopaymonthly  

However.... O2's online system may not have the device in stock (If you want a new phone)  so you may be better going instore ...It's all a matter of choice. I moved from payg  to pay monthly 3 years ago and it was the best thing I did if honest....
