My phone is suddenly showing that my sim is invalid, when it was fine 2 hours ago.
I have looked across the O2 website and cannot find any useful help at all.
I have tried phoning the helpline from my landline, and have not been able to speak to anyone as the computer will not put me through.
Without warning, I cannot use my phone and O2 is seemingly uncontactable.
I would appreciate any advice as to how to proceed.

Try turning off phone and remove SIM card.
Give it a gentle rub over the contact chip with your finger then try again for a network connection.

Thank you MI5
I have tried that and it has not helped.

You need to determine if it's a SIM or phone fault next, so try your SIM in another phone.

Hi Cleoriff
Thank you very much indeed for the information!
I have now managed to speak to someone at O2 and they have tried to sort out a solution for me.
Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Mark

Unfortunately, I don't have access to another phone to try that.
It is looking like a SIM issue, as my wifi is allowing me to use some elements of the phone.
I appreciate your assistance and advice.
Regards
Mark
