Try texting ACTIVE to 2020, save the settings sent to you and reboot the phone.

If that doesn't work we need more info re type of phone and tariff.

What tariff have you got?
What allowances are showing in your "My O2" http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2
As above, phone type will help us....
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If the telephone number is viewable in the about details then it's PAYG. Contracts don't reveal them in that section. At least on Android.

First they need to establish their platform and choose the iPhone, Blackberry or Android settings. In the case of iPhone and Blackberry they may need extra activation however anything else can use the generic internet settings which can be found here.

Just a further note, Virtual Network providers like Tesco, GIff Gaff use the backbone of the PAYG APN's not the contract users APN AFAIK.

Indubitably true. Samsung S21 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra
