Hello,
I recently made an international call from the UK to the US which I mistakenly thought was on facetime but it turned out was on my regular package. It cost me over £170
That was my mistake but I am worried that the receiver of the call in the US may also have incurred charges for receiving the call to her mobile. I don't know what network she is on.
Does anyone know if the person who received the call would have been charged?
Thanks!

Only you will have been charged.

No, the receiver never pays in their home country
Call O2 to see if they will make a goodwill gesture towards the bill if you explain the error
Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.
