I am sim only monthly customer. I will be travelling to USA soon. I am trying to work out whether I will be charged. Reviewing the following terms and conditions for the travel bolt on..
O2 Travel is the perfect way to stay connected in selected destinations outside of our Europe Zone. It covers 63 selected countries and costs £6.00 a day. That gets you all the data you need, plus unlimited minutes and texts, both where you are and back to the UK.
There's no upper usage limit on data, but data speeds might vary. These allowances won't affect your standard UK allowances. Voicemail (901) is included.
If you’re travelling within our Europe Zone, your allowances will work as they do in the UK. However, data usage within our Europe Zone is subject to a 25GB Roaming Limit.
The £6.00 is not charged when you’re in our Europe or O2 Travel Inclusive Zone.
Considering the last line, and that USA is in the travel inclusive zone, does this mean I will be able to roam at no extra cost in USA as I can in europe?
Thanks.

For USA you pay daily for O2 travel or free if you have travel inclusive.
You need to check your MyO2 to see which travel bolt on you have.
Using Your Phone Abroad → O2 Travel Search Tool | O2
✔ If you have the O2 Travel Inclusive Zone Bolt On, you can roam here at no extra cost.
Making calls | £2/min |
Receiving calls | £2/min |
Sending texts | 50p/text |
Using data | £7.20/MB |

This might not be the solution you are looking for but when I have travelled to the USA which is a few times the past few years - I just bought an extra sim in the USA think I paid around $15 usd - gave me around 30gb data / calls texts but could not call back to the UK without further charges but worked fine for me whilst I was out there.

As long as you have a data connection you can call home using WhatsApp to anyone else with the app for free.
