How would I cancel a Recurring Payment

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have a Nexus 7 tablet with 3G and I've just set up a £10 per month recurring payment for data. I'm quite happy with this arrangement at present but I would like to know how I could cancel this if I changed my mind later. Searching in O2 help tells me to go to mbb.o2.co.uk then select  "Manage your account" then "Cancel your account" - but I can't find that cancel option. When I click "Manage your account" I get a page of details and I can change my tablet's nickname, upgrade to 4G etc, but I cannot find the option to cancel. Can anyonw please suggest where am I going wrong.

MI5  Just to confirm - in all browsers Chrome/IE/Firefox on PC and Chrome browser on my tablet, the only options present under "Manage your account" are (1) "Update" to change my tablet nickname, (2) to "Step up to 4G", (3) "Buy  more data" (4) "Check your account" .  The "Check your account" option just takes me back to the "Accounts summary" which is where I started after logging in.

OK, thanks Brian.
I'll add it to the thread for a list of website errors.

Problem solved.  I found this at the foot of the Available Packages page:

"*First month data allowance free: payment card check needed. Will require a payment of £1 to validate the card. £1 will be refunded within 5 working days. Customers are not able to cancel the 30-day / monthly recurring plan until their second month¹s data allowance has been paid for."

So the Cancel option isn't available for a month.

Sorry to have wasted your time and thanks once again guys for your suggestions.

Ah yes, that would explain it.
Check it after a month and let us know if it appears.
