How to stop voicemail on my android mobile

Hello ~ is there a way to stop voicemail answering incoming calls?  

I do not want messages left.

Also how do I get rid of the messages that have arrived.

@TallTrees To get rid of messages left press 3 after listening to them. To turn off voicemails is 1760
