How can I block a mobile number? (on pay monthly)

Hi everyone,

I need to block a number as i'm getting abusive texts from it...

I told o2 but apprently there's nothing they can do and i should do it myself??

Problem is I don't know how to block a number?

Any ideas?

I keep getting text messages saying I've got missed calls from a number (which I've looked online and found is a spam number).

I have an Xperia SP phone so is there a way I can block numbers on this?

I've downloaded an App called 'Call Blocker' and added this number to it - but I still get the missed call alert on my phone.

Have I done all I can or are there other things I can do?

 If your phone doesn't have an inbuilt blocker them use Clean Master from the app store.

If you tap on the picture to the left of the call in the call log it should bring up an option to block it if it's on the SP.
I used to own one but I can't remember now if it was a feature?
