@Anonymous I was in total so far been with O2 for about 8 years on and off but before I was with 3 network untill they started doing that traffic management where they would slow down speeds from 3 pm till midnight I was stuck with them for 2 years so I left when I contract was up there customer service was a headache ....so I took out a contract with o2 now. ...

Its nice to hear stories like this.

Ive been with all the networks but been with o2 the longest, Ive also a contract with three and Ive had to deal with customer care a couple of times and very happy with them, other networks.

Orange sent me 5 cheques of monies for no reason and then sent me a red letter saying I owed them monies. Took me 3 days to sort it out which i did in the end and a sort or a sorry from them, what was even funnier was when I was asked "why did we send your the Money?" I never knew why.

Vodafone well, 4 attempts to change my DD date was it for me, I could have cried and lost 2 hours of my life.

Virgin was accetable to a point where I noticed another Virgin contract on my credit file and Virgin said thats not possible and im wrong, Virgin refused to help me, never ackknowldged my emails or letters and just said when I phoned, there are no contracts out in my name and thats that. Took 28 days with a Credit agency for Virgin to agree to say oops remove it, its not his.

Ive had to use o2 customer care a couple of times, o2 Shops and also o2 chat this week.

I have to say o2 chat on every occasions Ive asked has been really helpful and sorted what i needed. They have understood my request and 10\10.

O2 customer care, again twice, knew what i wanted and superb. another 10\10.

O2 Shops again really helpful and the 2 people I spoke to knew their stuff.

O2 may not have the best 3G etc, but i know when i need help, I feel confident it gets sorted with out fuss.

What i would like from O2 though is better Roaming Rates out side of EU and better Data allowence inside EU.

Need Help, Just ask. We are one big Family here in the o2 Forum.
Use iPhone XS Max dual sim, SE, Honor 10, IPad Pro 11, Apple Watch 4 LTE, 100+ Mpbs Barrier and a Record Player.

Official figures have continually rated O2 to have the best customer satisfaction and fewest complaints over all the networks and I too have never had reason to fault their customer service over the years from the Cellnet days apart from one instance using online chat. That was a one off and I've used chat on numerous occasions.

To be fair, the numerous complaints we see on here are not a true reflection of overall customer satisfaction as people invariably only post when something goes wrong or they have a genuine problem.

Hi @Anonymous

I've looked at 3 and ee and although their data allowances are impressive unfortunately if I wanted to make a call or send a text I'd be hard pushed due to Network Signal.

Sadly here neither 3 nor ee are a viable option.

3 only have outdoor signal. In the house nothing downstairs and the bear minimum upstairs. That said 3 have included the nearest town which is just 4 miles away in their 4g plans for this year (why don't o2 publish them? )

EE are marginally better than three but in the past I have found the t mobile signal to drop calls on a regular basis. It just isn't as good as the rest.

Hi @Anonymous

I understand your frustration on the publishing of Rollouts but on the flip side what would be the reaction of people if a list was published and then the rollout in that area didn't happen.

The backlash would IMO be massive and cause further issues.

We don't know what happens in the background with funding and testing and upgrading masts / erecting masts, so it's hard to comment but what I do know is it's all too easy to 'Network Bash'.

Hi BoB good morning to you.

Indeed you have very valid points here and there is never gonna be a right nor wrong on this.

With three they have made it fairly clear that it is their plan and that things may change but they must have a reasonable idea.

Signal and transmission is a big issue fire most if not all customers. We all want things to work, first time, wiggly l quickly although preferably without paying much for it ☺
