GDPR Breach - Merged accounts

My account has been merged with my son’s account (not by me). GDPR breach. How do I unmerge them? Tried resolving on chat and going round in circles with me being locked out one minute and then him the next. One agent insisting there is no link between the two accounts then another admitting there was. Completely separate accounts specifically set up well over a year ago. I can see all his details when I log in to my account. I take it the only option is to ring up and wait ages on the phone to resolve?

You'll need to call O2.

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

 

If you can't get through I'll ask one of our account advisors @O2Lisa to have a look at this for you.

She's not on today but starts at 10am tomorrow
