Free roaming in USA

Hi all,

I spend ~5 weeks per year in the US so I'm keen to get a sim-only deal with free US roaming. I've identified two O2 plans that have this feature - two 24-month "Plus Plans" (10gb and 30gb) are advertised with, "Roam at no extra cost in 75 destinations, USA included."

The problem is that I'd much rather not commit to a two-year contract, and I can't find this perk on any 12-month sims.

So, my questions are -

a) Do these offers change frequently? Is there any reason to think that a one-year sim might be made available with this offer in the near future?

b) Can it be added to any other sim? I've read elsewhere that it should be possible to add the "O2 Travel Inclusive Zone Bolt On" as my extra, but the other sim-only deals don't give me this option at checkout.

Thanks!

Mike

@mickyb28 You can reach O2 via social media who should be able to answer your queries:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

Bear in mind that O2 throttle their data speeds in the US, so if you're spending five weeks there you might want to consider getting a Pay & Go sim from AT&T or T-Mobile while you're there.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Thanks Bambino. I've now discovered Volt so the issue is moot. Thanks for the warning re:speeds in the US.
