It has been announced that mobile services are giving free data to help stay connected. I live alone, no internet and just rely on my data which is getting very low. Is this something you are offering so people like me do not feel so isolated with the outside world?

@Nicola1

O2 have not announced anything at all like this.

It's only BT that I have heard will do.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi @Nicola1 ,

O2 currently hasnt announced anything like that on Contract. All contracts taken via O2 are on flexible tariffs which means you can up your tariff for a few months if needs be then lower it again when things get back to normal . This can be done via the My o2 app.

@Tammylee

Your data sim does not do calls but you could use the data sim in phone for data only.

You can't use the phone sim in tablet though as O2 will block it.

Hi @Tammylee ,

You can swap your number from the Tab to your sim no problem. However this would need to be done via customer services and it may take a while before they're able to do it. It can be done though although you will probably get a new number altogether on your tab.
