IF that is the only way of registering then it must have been from the phone unless someone put the wrong mobile number in when registering. Did you receive the confirmation text or were you not aware until charges appeared?
Could this have possibly been set up online on a PC ?

The only suspicious aspect of this company is that as hard as I try I cannot identify any named person responsible for its operation.
Not even the UK Gambling Commission has any personnel data.
Nor a trademark application in the USA.
