I had numerous cold calls from a company calling themseves onward o2 regarding the renewall of my o2 mobile phone contract. Thinking the calls were from o2 I agreed to a new sim only contract which reduced my monthly tariff to £13.50. It transpired that the company was in fact E2save who are part of the carephone warehouse group. E2save then sent me a new phone that I had not asked for and set up a new contract with 02 with a monthly tariff of £37.50. It has taken me hours on the phone to get E2save to acknowledge by e-mail that they acted imcorrectly (I say fraudulently) but although they also confirm they have received the the returned phone they have not as yet cancelled my contact. Worryingly if you put E2save into any search engine, the result bring up a catologue of complains and unethical and unsavoury practices by this company. o2 say they cannot cancel my policy until they get an instruction from carphone warehouse but i think it relects badly on o2 that they continue to do business with such a disreputable company.

If these companies are legal ....why do they have to pretend to be O2 when they clearly aren't?
Infuriate me if honest

Simply because o2 pass all your details to trusted partners who sell it on to the rest of the world. 100 phone calls and 1 sale makes it money well spent.
A salesman is a salesman and will tell you all kinds of crap for a sale. He has family to feed and a mortgage. Why the hell would he care about lying through his teeth as long as gets his commission every month.
These people don't possess a conscience. This this is how the world has turned into a modern cesspit of greed and deceit.
Salesmen...lowest form of life!
