According to the info here you can use your allowances as you would at home.(If you are in the EU)
However check on the guide below about travelling outside the Europe Zone. (when you may need O2 Travel) https://www.o2.co.uk/help/pay-monthly/using-your-phone-abroad

As you didn't mention which country you are travelling to, you also need to check out those countries which fall into the International category. Data is capped in many of those areas

thanks for your reply ,i would be in Spain ,and i was lead to believe you can only use 20GB of data in the EU even if your uk data allowance is 50GB ,THANKS
