We were supposed to have 6gb internet as we had the mobile card through virgin media but we only seem to have 3gb

It takes 14 days from you getting the SIM card for the data to be doubled, if it has been over 14days then then best course of action is to contact o2 via X (twitter) and they can have a look for you.
