Why do I get data warning messages when I am on an unlimited plan?

Is this from o2 or pop ups on your phone @Kittyevs ?
Check the phone settings to see if there is a warning and limit on your phone.

Hey, thank you for your reply, Im not very techie. I have just looked into settings on phone, data usage. says 185mb of mobile data , and underneath say 2.00 GB data warning, so is this the phone and not 02?

Yes, it's the default setting for Android.

You can change the 2gb to something else or just turn off the data warning completely.
