The only thing I can think of trying is to dial ##002# which should cancel all diverts that may be setup on the account.
The diverts set are usually call based put could possibly be influencing data somehow.

@Paddymcpadinton You need to speak to customer service. O2 aren't very much interested in talking to customers these days unless they're buying something or upgrading. If you want to discuss your issue with customer service, below is the advice from an O2 Guru on how to get through.
Call 202 from your mobile.
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Other available numbers here: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
Use the Lost/Stolen or Fraud option if you have to, to get through. Otherwise you'll just be disconnected.
DO NOT stop payments. You will only be shooting yourself in the foot and creating more problems for yourself. O2 are ruthless with non-payments and can easily ruin your credit rating in the blink of an eye.

I've just tried that on their SIM and it came back with "call forwarding, connection problem or invalid MMI Code "
What could this mean?
That could be because wifi calling is on @Paddymcpadinton
