@Monkeyboy1074

Im confused by what you are asking?

Data is charged the same, but different devices, browers (versions) and even apps can poll and use differnet amounts of data.

This is the same with all devices...

@Monkeyboy1074

It's purely O2's business model and how they price the refresh packages.

For the best deals, source the phone SIM free from elsewhere and just take a SIM only tariff from O2.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

That’s rubbish, no offence, but how can they get away charging more for the same amount of data, surely data is data and it should be a set price for a same amount regardless of which handset you buy?!

They vary the price to cover some of the handset cost...

I didn't suggest it was ethical, just a fact.
As prices are clearly displayed, they operate within the law and it's consumer choice.

The handset cost is covered In the device part of the plan, the data is separate from that. No one can explain why there are different rates for the same amount of data, surely other people must query this?!
