Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I have a sim only monthly plan with 50gb of data.

On my Samsung a53, however, it says I have a mobile data allowance of 2gb. Shouldn't the latter be 50gb?

Go to Settings/ connections/ mobile data usage then set by clicking the cog symbol to set billing cycle and data limit

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@LM4

You need to change the setting in your phone from 2gb (default) to 50gb (your tariff).

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@LM4

Edit the part where you see the 2gb and change it to 50gb.

It won't stop you using data unless you select the option to stop your data also.
