HI there,
Can someone please advise how to cancel my phone insurance without having to call O2?
I am now in Australia and have paid my handset off completely. I still have my UK number but put it to the lowest plan possible and am still being charged roaming charges even though my phone is set to no roaming or mobile data. I am still paying for insurance also but don't need it anymore.
Trying to contact O2 is like a labrynth right now!!! Frustratingly the call from abroad number +44 7860 980202 is constantly engaged and there is no more online chat.
What else can I do to stop overpaying for all of these unnecessary charges?? I can't find any options in My O2 account.
Many thanks for your help in advance.

Normally the only way is to contact O2.
All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.
I'll also ask @O2Lisa if she can offer any help.
