Finding this very frustrating.
every time I try to call to cancel the contract I am paying for and the phone my ex is still using it keeps sending notifications to his phone and asking me to put codes in that I obviously cannot answer.
there has to be some way I can talk to an actual person so I can sort this out.
Any ideas?

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks

@Jazzydd I'm sure this is an issue you don't want to be discussing on social media. Speak to customer service.
Call 202 from your mobile or 0800 032 1402 from any phone or numbers in this link: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
