I got given an o2 card with virgin media ive never used.

i have never used the O2 sim as it has just sat in my drawer. I would like to cancel this sim please.

If you have never used the sim then

surely there would be no need to cancel it. 

It would have needed to be activated and you haven't activated it.  I  assume from what you say no accounts are in operation.
