Newly activated PAYG SIM - can't top up online or via 4444. Trying to top up online gives a page titled "O2 - Error 500" with the message "It looks like something's gone wrong. We're looking into it and hope to get it fixed soon." ...and of course a picture of that freaky-looking cat with the stick in its mouth 😞
Tried THREE different Internet browsers and two different cards - credit and debit.
Support guy on web chat said that there was "no top-up error on your account" and that "It seems to be some temporary technical error".
But - he then said that sometimes when the SIM card is new it requires a manual top-up - is this true? It's majorly inconvenient if so.....

Same situation here. No luck topping-up via web, or 4444. None of the generic links were of any use. Same with chat. No, I do not requite Auto-Top up... when I simply need to top-up using my crdit card, ffs I guess, I'll need a miracle, or a new provider.

Is this your first top up @Viktorija23 ?
If so, you must use a voucher for the first top up only.
