Hi all,
I have purchased a new Pixel 7 striaght from Google. So the phone will be unlocked. I would like to stop using O2 as my network carrier as I haven't had the best service from them and can get better plans from other carriers.
Plus, I will be getting the LTE Pixel Watch which is currently only supported by EE and Vodafone.
I'd like to know if I can cancel my O2 airtime tarrif yet still pay off the monthly payments on my current phone, or will I have to just pay the remaining balance for the phone if I want to cancel?
Would there also be some form of early termination fee if I wanted to cancel my tarrif? I couldn't see anything regarding duration left on my tarrif on the O2 app. Just details regarding the phone itself. (monthly payments, total loaned, total left, start and end date, etc..)
Thanks.

If you have been on an O2 refresh tariff for 24 months then the airtime is detached from the handset and you can cancel and move and just pay the handset loan.
If less than 24 months then there will be a penalty for leaving

@Scooter86 If you're on a Refresh contract with your current phone you cannot cancel the airtime only. You would have to pay off the remainder of the device:
