I just spent an hour on live chat to cancel my contract. It is due for renewal on 29th Dec. The agent ended the session and didn't confirm the contract would not be automatically renewed. Live chat is now unavailable. This is my confirmation to O2 that I DO NOT WANT THE CONTRACT RENEWED. This is just another time that O2 have made things convoluted and drawn out. Please contact me by email only with confirmation.

We always advise you either ring 202 for free or send a recorded letter to o2 cancling your contract address in contact us below

You need to give 30 days notice to cancel your contract, or if you are planning to move to another network and want to keep your number, you need to ask for your PAC. When you give your PAC to your new provider, that will initiate the cancellation process. As suggested, do this by calling Customer Service on 202 from your mobile. Live Chat is not reliable for doing this.

hi there does anybody know if it is possible to cancel my contract online? i have recently moved overseas and want to cancel my contract it ends late january, i cant ring as calling overseas would cost a fortune and they wouldnt let my parents do it for me. how can i cancel it online? i would appreciate any help thanks

Include as much detailed info as you can.
O2 will then let you know whether you have fulfilled any contractual agreement you may have with them and confirm any fee's for early concellation.

Can anyone tell me how they work out your termination fee. Just spent 40 mins on to a chat advisor and she had no clue. gave me 2 different figures, asked the manager and i still feel this price is not correct. I have 2 months left to go at 15.99 per month.
Do you pay tax on a service you will not receive.??
Please help, sooo frustrated trying to explain to someone how to do their job!!
