It appears impossible for me to top up my account using my credit cards as all my cards including my Uk card have a residential address in australia which are not recognised either through the web or by voice. Customer service appeared not to be of help redirecting me back to the automated service.
Finally I have had to use someone else's credit card which is embarrassing.
In addition, to pay for the additional data at $13.00 I have had to top up my account with $15 leaving a balance of $2.00 which I cannot use as I will be leaving the country to return to Australia at the end of the months contract. This is tantamount to stealing.
I will be a regular visitor to the UK so will steer well clear of o2 in future and will advise my friends and contacts not to use o2 for these reasons.
Your customer service is atrocious and I hope such feedback will be treated seriously for the benefit of future overseas customers.
In in addition the "feedback" email address feedback@o2.com kindly provided on an o2 email appears to have been deleted. It appears o2 doesn't like feedback or customers for that matter.

Hi @Anonymous
If abroad you can use this route to top up https://www.mobiletopup.co.uk/o2. It gives you the option to pay via Paypal if that helps
For future reference there are various other ways to top up when abroad in this link. https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-Pay-and-Go/How-can-I-pay-my-bill-or-Ways-to-pay-guidelines/ba-p/1014090

I can understand the frustration though. Both DTAC and True online accept UK cards in Thailand 🇹🇭
