Growing increasingly frustrated with O2.

Preordered the s25 ultra when it first came out...few weeks later, I received my code and I was quite impressed.

Tried using it and it keeps on saying they can't verify my card. I have tried 6 different cards from different banks and I keep on getting the exact same massage.

Called multiple times and keep on getting told that a new code will be sent within 48 hours. After 48 hours, I'll call again and get told exactly the same thing.

It's been almost a month now and no one ever gets back to me 😒

I'm now getting the same payment verification issue for my son's code.

 

The discount code itself is being accepted, but the order is failing at the payment stage, claiming it can't verify my payment details even though I had to approve the transactions in my First Direct app.

 

Tried 3 times now, to be sure I was absolutely typing everything in properly. Failed 3 times. Can't order the buds. 🙄

Hi I'm having the exact same issue...my code will expire on 06/04/25 and am now worried it'll expire before I can use it through no fault of my own.

Forgot to say I've also tried multiple cards as well and the payment doesn't verify.

@Rob_83 I have also tried going in store to pay the £20 there but was informed it needs to be done online...tried phoning customer services and always get the same talk of we'll try and enter your details here and after various attempts each phone call..it's always the same cannot verify message then I'm told to phone my bank which I have done multiple times and everything they say it's something wrong on o2's side...the whole situation is very frustrating as I have wasted hours on the phone trying to sort this out.

@Dave-O2 has advised me to try again so I'll have another go later and report back.

Relieved to know it didn't result in me having multiple £20 holds on my bank account though!

I still haven't received my code and have been waiting well over a month for mine. I remember years ago, you would get a voucher in the package with the new phone. I understand why they dont do this anymore but was told the code would be received within 30 days! Tried calling CS but got nowhere!
