It can take upto 48 hours to reconnect, but keep rebooting your phone to check.
You need to contact O2 if not to check if there's a reconnection fee to pay.

When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

@Chlsprkr2 Just like paying a bill to any utility, it takes several days for the payment to clear the recipients account. You should also ring customer service to make sure all bars have been removed because of the late payment. If you want to avoid problems like this in the future you should consider setting up a Direct Debit.
