BT Openzone

Hi all. Tried to log on to a BT Openzone spot this week that is showning on both the coverage map and wifi hotspot map as a live & compatible BT Openzone hot spot. 

Needless to say it didn't work. It brought up a WLAN page asking me for my mobile number which I typed in but the page just wouldn't load. 

I tried a tex to 2121 and also did a mac reset form. 

I have the works data bolt on and also unlimited wifi Bolton on too. 

Can anyone help?

The hotspot was:

macdonalds portal hotel

cw6 0dj

Network name (SSID): BTOpenzone

Have you only tried it the once? Just wondering if there was issues that day.

Long shot I know but you seem to have covered your bases.

edit: I can't find the one you mention on the wifi checker.

is it the one on Warrington road or Wharton retail park?

Tried it over three days. It's post code cw6 0dj just outside Tarporley.

My bad found it now sorry I definatly read it as McDonald's:( I should go to bed haha.

Right have you tried different browsers? The one where I live will connect with mercury but not safari.(not sure why)

Another thing you could try is phone O2 and ask them to reset the wifi bolt on. There was a member a while ago that had this problem which was fixed as such ill try and dig up the thread.

http://consumero2.directoryconnection.com/results.php lists it as an included hotspot.

Ring o2 on 202 and say that it will not let you use it they can  check your account is ok then lodge it with openzone.
