I have just received a four digit pin from the above number.
What is this used for?
Thanks

Hi,
I have had the same thing the last couple of days.... I have spoken to O2 and it is actually a member of the O2 Fraud team texting it. Someone may have called O2 pretending to be you, or was unable to answer the security questions correctly, so whilst on the phone they send a 4 digit code from the number 80202, then you are able to confirm it over the phone. If this was not you, then someone may be trying to access your account, in which case you need to speak to O2 ASAP.

Yes, it is used for a lot of things... but if it is just a 4 digit code, then that would have been used to confirm the person on the phone is who they say they are. Just saying, it may be worth a call to O2 to check someone hasn't been trying to get in their account.
