How long does it take for a new 5G SIM card to be activated to get a signal on a new O2 phone

If it is to replace an older 4g sim you need to do a sim swap Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update

The process is usually very quick, or you can go instore and they will activate it for you.

Take ID in store if you don't have an active sim currently.
