Hi, is anybody getting good 4g signal but slow connectivity speeds while streaming videos, music etc? Videos are buffering almost every few minutes. It’s like being on a dial up modem.

If there is contention locally, a lot of people in the same place all using same 4G signal, you can sometimes get better download speed by setting your phone to use 3G, @Lambda101 .

This used to be the case where I work, good signal but abysmal speed from about noon to 14:00 weekdays.

Go into settings (Android here, not sure where that is on your iPhone), switch from 2G/3G/4G auto to 2G/3G auto, and whee - back to decent download speed, far better than on 4G between those times.

Might help, unless anyone else on the Forum knows of a particular issue with the iPhone and 4G.

Welcome to the forum, @Lambda101 .

If you have recently changed your tariff or upgraded you may be on the wrong data bolt on.

Try changing the APN to mobile.o2.co.uk

Or try 3G
