My family have three iPhones all of which use the 02 network either directly or via Tesco or Giffgaff. We’ve never had any issues with connecting to BT wireless until the last fortnight or so - now there is no connection on any of the phones. We all keep getting asked to re-enter router password and so on - but nothing works.

I have access to Virgin at another property and all of the phones connect with no issue there. Any suggestions? I also have an Amazon Alexa and that connects to the BT without issue - so it’s definitely an issue with the 02 side (I assume :))

The O2 / Tesco / Giffgaff side would have nothing to do with you connecting to WiFi.

You can check by putting a handset into Aeroplane mode and then switching on WiFi only.

If you still have  problem it will be down to BT

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Sounds like an issue with the BT Router, as WiFi connections have nothing to do with o2.

I would speak to BT in the first instance, as it could be that one of the bands used by the router is not responding, so whilst you wait on the phone for BT, reboot the router.

Okay, thanks. I’m just curious as to why other devices in the property - Amazon Echo - connect with no issue.
